Policies and procedures

Due to staff from UHI Outer Hebrides and UHI West Highlands having undergone TUPE into the legal entity of UHI North Highland, the college currently has three sets of HR policies. As part of the restructure a set of streamlined policies and procedures will be agreed with staff using the required consultation processes.

Statistical Information

Statistical information on staff at institutional level is published annually as part of our public sector Equalities Monitoring obligations. This section will be updated once the report is published.

This section will also contain staff statistical outcomes information (relating to promotion, regrading and salary reviews) once this activity has taken place and the report signed off for publication.

Employee relations and Trade Unions

The College recognises EIS FELA in respect of its teaching staff and UNISON and UNITE for support staff. Details for these institutions can be obtained directly from their respective websites as follows:

The college is subject Public Bodies Climate Change Reporting (PBCCR) requirements. The first PBCCR for UHI North, West and Hebrides will be published in late 2024.
