The reason I chose to study PDA Carpentry and Joinery is that I am hoping to begin a career in the construction industry. So far, I am finding the course rather enjoyable. I have particularly enjoyed building the kits and putting up the pods.

Completing this course will help me in what I want to do next as it will make me more appealing for employers to take me on as an apprentice as they would not have to lose me to college.

My plans include completing an apprenticeship and hopefully one day working as a self-employed joiner.

From a young age, I’ve wanted to be a carpenter or joiner. I’d just moved up here and people said this course could help me to get an apprenticeship.

The course good. I liked making the pods and I liked hanging my door. The facilities are good and it’s easy to find your way around. This course will help me do what I want to do next. It will help me get my apprenticeship as I have learned more skills and got more confident in my work.
