SpeakGaelic, a new, wide-ranging, multi-faceted learning brand, developed in partnership between MGALBA, BBC Alba and Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, with support from Bòrd na Gàidhlig and the Scottish Government, offers the most comprehensive approach to learning Scottish Gaelic in a generation.
As well as complete beginners, SpeakGaelic will be aimed at enabling lapsed or less confident speakers to use their Gaelic with confidence. It will also provide a range of support resources and media content through a variety of platforms.
- We will be delivering Level A1 (beginner level) in a 13-week block on a twice-weekly basis from November 1st.
- Each class will be of 1.5 hours duration and will be delivered face-to-face on Monday and Thursday 9.30am – 11am.
- SpeakGaelic classes will also be offered on a weekly basis the local communities of Lochs, Breasclete and Benbecula
