The Hebridean islands are full of inspirational landscapes, breathtaking beauty, unusual geomorphology and spectacular coastlines. They’re home to a wide range of native flora and fauna, with rich machair colours, vivid lichen, purple heather, and textured cliffs.

The Western Isles is home to many artists - all of whom find varied inspiration in their glorious and ever-changing surroundings.  From traditional crofting life to sweeping beaches, majestic cliffs and iconic machair, it truly is an artist’s paradise.

"If you have the opportunity, go for it. It’s a great course and a great place to study."
