Worked as a chef for 15 years, it was a tough decision to change my career but my hobby of fixing computers both pc and Laptops led me to enrol in NC computing hoping to pursue a career in the same. When I met the course leader Alexander in my interview, I was really impressed by how helpful and concerned he was about the students and was really a source of inspiration for not just me, but most of the students in my course, and most of us will go to him for any guidance or advise.

While studying in the college, I managed to do a summer placement with NHS Western Isles, which made me realize that there were more options available along with becoming a software developer and system administrator. I am now employed at NHS Western Isles as a Health Intelligence Analyst.

 

I am grateful to the staff for all the support and guidance that they provided to me during my time there, I met some wonderful people and also made friends for a lifetime.
