BA Gaelic Language and Culture
When I started studying first, I was based in Stornoway, but at the beginning of the pandemic, I moved back home to Inverness. From then, I continued to study remotely.
My family is from Lewis so studying at UHI Outer Hebrides was my first choice. The BA Gaelic Language and Culture provided a mix of different subjects ranging from history, language, poetry, and more.
As I began studying before covid, the transition from studying on campus to studying from home was made easy thanks to the support from lecturers. I felt comfortable asking questions and having lectures recorded was great, as you could go back and listen again.
