To support our work we are recruiting to the following role:

Lecturer in Electrical Engineering

Salary range £36,657 - £44,754 including Islands Allowance
Working hours35 hours per week

Applications are invited for the above post, located at our main campus in Stornoway.

The successful applicant will deliver high quality teaching in electrical installation/engineering and electronics within the Technology department as well as developing and delivering industry recognised commercial courses and qualifications to external clients.    

Applicants should be educated to a minimum of SCQF Level 8 or equivalent in an industry related qualification as well as having verifiable industrial experience in electrical installation/engineering.  Knowledge of electronics would be an advantage.  

The ability to inspire through teaching and performance is essential as well as having excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
