Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation

This 2-day course consists of 2 parts. Part 1 covers the theory and design requirements for the installation of the charging equipment and this will be assessed with a City and Guilds 1 hour multi choice exam. Candidates have to pass this before proceeding on to part 2.

Part 2 is a practical assessment that includes the installation, inspection, testing and commissioning of domestic, commercial and industrial charging equipment.

On successful completion of this course, electric1ans can apply for OLEV approval to install Electric Vehicle charging equipment for domestic, commercial and industrial locations.

Basic Welding Skills

This BASIC welding course will equip first time welders of MIG and MMA with the fundamental knowledge and skills to weld. It will provide information on the most commonly used welding processes of MIG and MMA (stick) welding work, practical instruction on the operation and applications, and the safe use and handling of the equipment.

On completion of the course, candidates will be able to perform basic welding tasks, manage equipment to a competent standard and have a general understanding of health & safety procedures.
