I chose this module as it provides a comprehensive overview of diabetes care across the life cycle, and is specifically for health care professionals. I particularly liked that it fit around work and life commitments, and found the weekly tutorials really helpful.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course: it encouraged us to consider and reflect on the practicalities of applying theory to clinical practice, and it expanded my knowledge beyond my own area of practice, providing insight into the health journeys of those living with diabetes.
Jessica Fletcher completed our CPD Award Advanced Diabetes online, part-time, while in her current role as an NHS Diabetes Specialist Dietitian.
